Keswick has been adjusting nicely to our house since he arrived on Saturday.  He was greeted immediately by two little boys who live across the street from us.  Keswick barked at them when he first saw them, but within 5 minutes the boys were tossing Keswick's ball and playing fetch with him.  Luckily the boys aren't afraid of dogs, so they just hung in there and waited until Keswick was done "talking!"

Shortly after he met our two Springer Spaniels.  He greeted them with the same barking and definitely made it known that he wasn't afraid of them even though they're quite a bit larger.  He's a very confident little guy.  They run around the yard and play together now.  He does like to bark when he first sees someone (a good little watchdog), but within minutes he's giving kisses and enjoying belly rubs.

I don't think I can say he's fully housebroken yet.  I've caught him starting to mark his territory a couple of times in the house, but fortunately he understands "No!"  Being that he's in a new space and is sharing that space with two other dogs, that's a pretty common thing.  Also, he was neutered just over a week ago, so hopefully the fact that he's now neutered and that I am with him all day, we can put a stop to that behavior.

We're having fun getting to know each other!  He loves to play fetch.  He has a favorite ball that he brought with him.  He'll play fetch for as long as someone is willing to throw the ball!  It's very cute!  Here are a couple of pictures of Keswick enjoying the beautiful weather today!
